Specificity and Use
Pore complex-lamina fraction isolated from rat liver nuclear envelopes.
Detects rat lamin associated polypeptide (LAP) 1A, 1B & 1C from rat tissues. Does not cross-react with LAP 2. Detects 3 distinct proteins of molecular weights 75, 68 and 55kD representing LAP 1A, 1B and 1C, respectively in rat liver nuclear envelope fractions.
Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Immunofluorescence: 1:100. Immunofluorescence staining of LAP 1 in rat liver results in exclusive labeling of the nuclear periphery and exhibits co-localization with lamin staining. Western Blot: 1:200.
