Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use
KRT17 / CK17 / Cytokeratin 17 antibody was raised against rat keratin.
Recognizes rat 46kD cytokeratin 17. Species cross-reactivity: human.
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Western Blot: 1:50-1:100. Immunohistochemistry (Frozen and Paraffin): 1:20-1:40. For paraffin sections, antigen retrieval is required using heat treatment prior to staining. Use citrate buffer, pH 6.0.
1,000 µl deionized water
Long term: Add glycerol (40-50%) -20°C; Short term: +4°C
May play a role in the formation and maintenance of various skin appendages, specifically in determining shape and orientation of hair. May be a marker of basal cell differentiation in complex epithelia and therefore indicative of a certain type of epithelial "stem cells". May act as an autoantigen in the immunopathogenesis of psoriasis, with certain peptide regions being a major target for autoreactive T-cells and hence causing their proliferation.
