Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

aa136-147
Human KLRK1 / NKG2D.
Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:32000. Western blot: Approx 35 kDa band observed in human lymph node and human spleen lysates (calculated MW of 25.3 kDa according to NP_031386.1). The observed molecular weight is explained by glycosylation (Han et al, Blood. 2004 Nov 1;104(9):2858-66. Epub 2004 Jul 6; PMID: 15238421). Recommended concentration: 0.1-0.3 ug/ml.

Packaging

About KLRK1 / CD314 / NKG2D

P26718 NM_007360 NP_031386.2

KLRK1 Antibody, D12S2489E Antibody, CD314 antigen Antibody, KLR Antibody, NK cell receptor D Antibody, NKG2D Antibody, NKG2-D Antibody, NKG2-D-activating NK receptor Antibody, CD314 Antibody

Natural killer (NK) cells are lymphocytes that can mediate lysis of certain tumor cells and virus-infected cells without previous activation. They can also regulate specific humoral and cell-mediated immunity. NK cells preferentially express several calcium-dependent (C-type) lectins, which have been implicated in the regulation of NK cell function. The NKG2 gene family is located within the NK complex, a region that contains several C-type lectin genes preferentially expressed in NK cells.

Western blot

Western blot
KLRK1 antibody staining (0.3 ug/ml) of human spleen lysate (RIPA buffer, 35g total protein per lane). Primary incubated for 1 hour. Detected by Western blot of chemiluminescence.
