  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

KLRD1 / CD94 antibody was raised against natural killer cell line.
Specific for human CD94, also known as KLRD1 (Killer cell lectin-like receptor, subfamily D, member 1). CD94 is expressed on natural killer (NK) cells and a subset of T lymphocytes. CD94 is found to associate with NKG2 to form a heterodimer which is involved in the inhibition of cell mediated cytotoxicity against cells bearing appropriate MHC class I allotypes. Clone DX22 is reported to inhibit the binding of CD94 to HLA-E(2) and HLA-G(4). XXX recommend the use of MCA2254XZ for functional studies.
Flow Cytometry: Use 10 ul of the suggested working dilution to label 1 x 10^6 cells in 100 ul. Method sheets are available on request.

About KLRD1 / CD94

Q13241 NM_002262 NP_002253.1

KLRD1 Antibody, CD94 Antibody, KP43 Antibody, NK cell receptor Antibody, CD94 antigen Antibody

Natural killer (NK) cells are a distinct lineage of lymphocytes that mediate cytotoxic activity and secrete cytokines upon immune stimulation. Several genes of the C-type lectin superfamily, including members of the NKG2 family, are expressed by NK cells and may be involved in the regulation of NK cell function. KLRD1 (CD94) is an antigen preferentially expressed on NK cells and is classified as a type II membrane protein because it has an external C terminus.
