Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

JUP/CTNNG/Junction Plakoglobin antibody was raised against synthetic peptide C-GLRPPYPTADHMLA from the C-terminus of human JUP / Gamma Catenin (NP_002221.1, NP_068831.1). Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla, Gibbon, Monkey, Mouse, Dog, Hamster, Panda, Rabbit (100%); Rat, Bat, Bovine, Pig, Opossum (93%); Elephant (86%).
LS-E25379 - Lyophilized - 100 µg - $145.00
aa732-745
Human JUP / Gamma Catenin. This antibody is expected to recognise both reported isoforms, as represented by NP_002221.1 and NP_068831.1.
Immunohistochemistry: LS-B2204 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B2204 was determined to be 5 ug/ml.

Packaging

About JUP/CTNNG/Junction Plakoglobin

JUP Antibody, Desmoplakin-3 Antibody, CTNNG Antibody, DPIII Antibody, Gamma catenin Antibody, Junction plakoglobin Antibody, PKGB Antibody, ARVD12 Antibody, Catenin gamma Antibody, Desmoplakin III Antibody, DP3 Antibody, PDGB Antibody

Common junctional plaque protein. The membrane-associated plaques are architectural elements in an important strategic position to influence the arrangement and function of both the cytoskeleton and the cells within the tissue. The presence of plakoglobin in both the desmosomes and in the intermediate junctions suggests that it plays a central role in the structure and function of submembranous plaques.
