Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

ITGB4 / Integrin Beta 4 antibody was raised against human ITGB4
This 439-9B antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of EDTA treated A549 cell line. This can be used at less than or equal to 0.25 ug per test. A test is defined as the amount (ug) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 ul. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.

Packaging

PBS, pH 7.2, <=0.09% sodium azide
Store at 4°C. Do not freeze.

Integrins are heterodimers comprised of alpha and beta subunits, that are noncovalently associated transmembrane glycoprotein receptors. Different combinations of alpha and beta polypeptides form complexes that vary in their ligand-binding specificities. Integrins mediate cell-matrix or cell-cell adhesion, and transduced signals that regulate gene expression and cell growth. This gene encodes the integrin beta 4 subunit, a receptor for the laminins.

Flow Cytometry

Flow Cytometry
Staining of the A549 cell line with 0.125 ug of Biotin Rat IgG2b Isotype Control (open histogram) or 0.125 ug of Biotin anti-human CD104 (439-9B) (colored histogram) followed by Sav-PE. Total viable cells were used for analysis. This image was taken for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.
