Reacts with influenza B virus nucleoprotein. No cross-reaction is seen with influenza A infected patient samples or purified influenza A virus. Epitope differs from clones B1 and B2 as determined by inhibition ELISA. Suitable as detecting antibody in combination with LS-C70683 (B1) or LS-C70684 (B2) as capture antibody in sandwich ELISA. In Western blotting after SDS-PAGE this antibody reacts with influenza B viral nucleoprotein (NP). Reacts with influenza B infected, acetone-fixed Vero cells when diluted 1:1000. Specific binding can be visualized by immunofluorescence using a polyclonal anti-mouse Ig antibody labeled with for example fluorescein.
