This protein A purified antibody was prepared from whole rabbit serum produced by repeated immunizations with a recombinant protein raised in yeast corresponding to 145 amino acids of mature chicken IFN gamma.
Specificity
This antibody is specific for chicken IFN gamma protein. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with IFN gamma from chicken based on 100% homology; ring-necked pheasant, turkey, quail, and junglefowl based on 91-97% homology with the immunizing sequence. Cross-reactivity with IFN gamma from other sources has not been determined.

Usage
This protein A purified antibody is suitable for ELISA and Western blotting. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user. Expect a band approximately 16.7 kD in size corresponding to chicken IFN gamma by western blotting in the appropriate cell lysate or extract.
