Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

ICOS / CD278 antibody was raised against mouse ICOS
The 7E.17G9 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of unstimulated and ConA activated (3 day) mouse splenocyte suspensions and can be used at less than or equal to 0.06 ug per test. A test is defined as the amount (ug) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 ul. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.

Packaging

PBS, pH 7.2, 150 mM sodium chloride, 0.09% sodium azide
Store at 4°C. Do not freeze.

About ICOS / CD278

Q9Y6W8 AJ277832 CAC06612.1

ICOS Antibody, AILIM Antibody, CD278 Antibody, CVID1 Antibody, Inducible costimulator Antibody, Inducible T-cell co-stimulator Antibody, CD278 antigen Antibody, Inducible T-cell costimulator Antibody

Enhances all basic T-cell responses to a foreign antigen, namely proliferation, secretion of lymphokines, up-regulation of molecules that mediate cell-cell interaction, and effective help for antibody secretion by B-cells. Essential both for efficient interaction between T and B-cells and for normal antibody responses to T-cell dependent antigens. Does not up-regulate the production of interleukin-2, but superinduces the synthesis of interleukin-10.

Flow Cytometry

Flow Cytometry
Staining of 3 day ConA activated BALB/c splenocytes with 0.03 ug of biotin rat IgG2b isotype control (open histogram) or 0.03 ug of biotin 7E.17G9 (colored histogram) followed by SAv-PE. Total viable cells were used for analysis. This image was taken for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.
