Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

HLA-DRA antibody was raised against burkitt's lymphoma cell line Raji.
Recognizes common epitope on human HLA-DR, which is dependent on the association of the alpha and beta chains. Recognized epitope is conserved after fixation with glutaraldehyde and formaldehyde.

Packaging

PBS, pH 7.4, 15 mM sodium azide
Long term: -20°C; Short term: +4°C. Avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

About HLA-DRA

P01903 NM_019111 NP_061984.2

HLA-DRA Antibody, HLA-DRA1 Antibody, MHC cell surface glycoprotein Antibody, MHC class II antigen DRA Antibody, MLRW Antibody

HLA-DRA is one of the HLA class II alpha chain paralogues. This class II molecule is a heterodimer consisting of an alpha and a beta chain, both anchored in the membrane. It plays a central role in the immune system by presenting peptides derived from extracellular proteins. Class II molecules are expressed in antigen presenting cells (APC: B lymphocytes, dendritic cells, macrophages). The alpha chain is approximately 33-35 kDa and its gene contains 5 exons.
