  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

About HBB / Hemoglobin Beta

HBB Antibody, CD113t-C Antibody, Hemoglobin beta Antibody, Hemoglobin beta chain Antibody, Hemoglobin subunit beta Antibody, Beta globin chain Antibody, Beta-globin Antibody, Hemoglobin, beta Antibody

The alpha (HBA) and beta (HBB) loci determine the structure of the 2 types of polypeptide chains in adult hemoglobin, Hb A. The normal adult hemoglobin tetramer consists of two alpha chains and two beta chains. Mutant beta globin that sickles causes sickle cell anemia. Absence of beta chain causes beta-zero-thalassemia. Reduced amounts of detectable beta globin causes beta-plus-thalassemia.

HBB Antibody immunohistochemistry of formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human liver tissue followed by peroxidase-conjugated secondary antibody and DAB staining.

Western blot

Western blot
HBB Antibody western blot of K562 cell and human liver tissue lysates (35 ug/lane). The HBB antibody detected HBB protein (arrow).

Western blot

Western blot
HBB Antibody western blot of K562 cell line lysates (35 ug/lane). The HBB antibody detected the HBB protein (arrow).

Flow Cytometry

Flow Cytometry
HBB Antibody flow cytometry of K562 cells (right histogram) compared to a negative control cell (left histogram). FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.
