Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

GSTA1 antibody was raised against gST (Glutathione-S-transferase) derived from the pGEX expression vector and linked to KLH.
Recognizes GST-fusion proteins.
Suitable for use in Western Blot. Western Blot Analysis: 0.5-2 ug/ml of this lot detected 100 ng of MAP Kinase 2/Erk2, active. 0.5-2 ug/ml of a previous lot detected 500 ng of GST. Representative blot from a previous lot. Cell lysate containing GST fusion protein was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitro-cellulose and probed with anti-GST (1 ug/ml). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and a chemiluminescence detection system. Arrow indicates the GST fusion protein.

Packaging

0.1 M Tris-glycine, pH 7.4, 0.15 M sodium chloride, 0.05% sodium azide.

About GSTA1

GSTA1 Antibody, Gth1 Antibody, Glutathione s-transferase a1 Antibody, Gsta1-1 Antibody, Glutathione S-transferase 2 Antibody, GST class-alpha member 1 Antibody, GST HA subunit 1 Antibody, GST, class alpha, 1 Antibody, Gst-epsilon Antibody, GST2 Antibody

Cytosolic and membrane-bound forms of glutathione S-transferase are encoded by two distinct supergene families. These enzymes function in the detoxification of electrophilic compounds, including carcinogens, therapeutic drugs, environmental toxins and products of oxidative stress, by conjugation with glutathione. The genes encoding these enzymes are known to be highly polymorphic.
