Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Product Description

Glutathione S-Transferase antibody LS-C153962 is an unconjugated goat polyclonal antibody to schistosoma japonicum Glutathione S-Transferase (GST). Validated for ELISA, IHC and WB.
About GST / Glutathione S-Transferase
Glutathione S-transferases (GSTs), previously known as ligandins, comprise a family of eukaryotic and prokaryotic phase II metabolic isozymes best known for their ability to catalyze the conjugation of the reduced form of glutathione (GSH) to xenobiotic substrates for the purpose of detoxification. The GST family consists of three superfamilies: the cytosolic, mitochondrial, and microsomal—also known as MAPEG—proteins.

Immunogen
Glutathione-S-Transferase [Schistosoma japonicum].
Specificity
Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against purified and partially purified Glutathione-S-Transferase [Schistosoma japonicum]. Cross reactivity against Glutathione-S-Transferase from other sources may occur but has not been specifically determined.
Usage
This product has been assayed against 1.0 ug of Glutathione-S-Transferase [Schistosoma japonicum] in a standard sandwich ELISA using Peroxidase conjugated Affinity Purified anti-Goat IgG [H&L] (Rabbit) and (ABTS (2,2'-azino-bis-[3-ethylbenthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid]) as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature. A working dilution of 1:1500 to 1:8000 of the reconstitution concentration is suggested for this product.
Presentation
0.02 M potassium phosphate, 0.15 M sodium chloride, pH 7.2, 0.01% sodium azide
