Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Human (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Mouse, Rat, Bovine (at least 90% immunogen sequence identity)
IHC - Paraffin (1:100 - 1:1000)
Western blot (1:500 - 1:3000)
Specificity and Use
GRAP2 / GRID antibody was raised against recombinant fragment corresponding to a region within amino acids 1 and 174 of GRAP2 (SwissProt O75791). Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human (100%); Rat (92%); Mouse, Bovine (90%).
IHC-paraffin: Suggested antigen retrieval using heat mediated 10 mM Citrate buffer (pH 6.0) or Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 8.0).
0.1 M Tris-glycine, pH 7.0, 20% glycerol, 0.01% Thimerosal
Keep as concentrated solution. Aliquot and store at -20°C or below. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.

GRAP2 / GRID is a member of the GRB2/Sem5/Drk family. This member is an adaptor-like protein involved in leukocyte-specific protein-tyrosine kinase signaling. Like its related family member, GRB2-related adaptor protein (GRAP), this protein contains an SH2 domain flanked by two SH3 domains. This protein interacts with other proteins, such as GRB2-associated binding protein 1 (GAB1) and the SLP-76 leukocyte protein (LCP2), through its SH3 domains.
