Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

About GJB6 / CX30 / Connexin 30

O95452 NM_006783 NP_006774.2

GJB6 Antibody, DFNB1B Antibody, ECTD2 Antibody, EDH Antibody, Connexin-30 Antibody, DFNA3 Antibody, Gap junction beta-6 protein Antibody, Gap Junction protein beta-6 Antibody, Hed Antibody, HED2 Antibody, Connexin 30 Antibody, CX30 Antibody, DFNA3B Antibody, ED2 Antibody, Gap junction protein, beta 6 Antibody

Gap junctions allow the transport of ions and metabolites between the cytoplasm of adjacent cells. They are formed by two hemichannels, made up of six connexin proteins assembled in groups. Each connexin protein has four transmembrane segments, two extracellular loops, a cytoplasmic loop formed between the two inner transmembrane segments, and the N- and C-terminus both being in the cytoplasm. The specificity of the gap junction is determined by which connexin proteins comprise the hemichannel.

Immunohistochemistry

Immunohistochemistry
Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human prostate carcinoma tissue reacted with GJB6 Antibody , which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.

Immunohistochemistry

Immunohistochemistry
Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human cancer tissue reacted with the primary antibody, which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by AEC staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated. BC = breast carcinoma; HC = hepatocarcinoma.

Western blot

Western blot
Western blot of GJB6 (arrow) using rabbit polyclonal GJB6 Antibody. 293 cell lysates (2 ug/lane) either nontransfected (Lane 1) or transiently transfected with the GJB6gene (Lane 2) (Origene Technologies).
