Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Component of a heterodimeric G-protein coupled receptor for GABA, formed by GABBR1 and GABBR2. Within the heterodimeric GABA receptor, only GABBR1 seems to bind agonists, while GABBR2 mediates coupling to G proteins. Ligand binding causes a conformation change that triggers signaling via guanine nucleotide-binding proteins (G proteins) and modulates the activity of down-stream effectors, such as adenylate cyclase.

Western blot

Western blot
Western blots of Cos-7 cells transiently expressing GABABR2S892A (lane 1), wild type GABABR2 (lane 2) or control untransfected cells (lane 3) were lysed and 50 mg of protein from each sample was separated by SDS-PAGE and transferred to a nitrocellulose membranes. Blots were then immunolabeled with Rabbit Anti-Phospho Ser892 (Figure A). In Figure B the membrane was pre-treated with l-Ptase (1200 units for 30 min) before being exposed to the Anti-Ser892 GABAB Receptor, R2-Subunit.
