Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

FLT3LG / Flt3 Ligand antibody was raised against e.coli derived recombinant Human Flt3-Ligand.
Human Flt3-Ligand
Neutralization: To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND] of the biological activity of hFlt-3 Ligand (1 ng/ml), a concentration of 4-6 ng/ml of this antibody is required. ELISA: To detect hFlt-3 Ligand by sandwich ELISA (using 100 ul/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.5-2 ug/ml of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with Biotinylated Anti-Human Flt-3 Ligand (LS-C104670) as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4 ng/well of recombinant hFlt-3 Ligand. Western Blot: To detect hFlt-3 Ligand by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2 ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hFlt-3 Ligand is 1.5-3 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

About FLT3LG / Flt3 Ligand

P49771 NM_001459 NP_001450.2

FLT3LG Antibody, FL Antibody, Flt3 ligand Antibody, FLT3L Antibody, SL cytokine Antibody

Dendritic cells (DCs) provide the key link between innate and adaptive immunity by recognizing pathogens and priming pathogen-specific immune responses. FLT3LG controls the development of DCs and is particularly important for plasmacytoid DCs and CD8 (see MIM 186910)-positive classical DCs and their CD103 (ITGAE; MIM 604682)-positive tissue counterparts (summary by Sathaliyawala et al., 2010 [PubMed 20933441]).
