Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use
FGFR1 / FGF Receptor 1 antibody was raised against recombinant human ectodomain of FGFr1~ expressed in E. coli beginning with pro23; antigen contained NH2-terminal gly-ser-pro-gly-ile and COOH-terminal glu-phe sequences.
Reacts with the beta isoform of FGFr1. Epitope is undetermined but presumed to be near junction of the common FGFr1 NH2-terminus and NH2- terminus of Ig loop II.
Western blotting: at 1 ug/ml recognizes 10 ng recombinant bacterial, baculoviral, or native FGFr1. Immunoprecipitation: native, nuclear, recombinant, and ligand-labeled FGFr1. IHC using FFPE human tissues.
PBS, pH 7.4
Long term: -70°C; Short term: -20°C; Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Tyrosine-protein kinase that acts as cell-surface receptor for fibroblast growth factors and plays an essential role in the regulation of embryonic development, cell proliferation, differentiation and migration. Required for normal mesoderm patterning and correct axial organization during embryonic development, normal skeletogenesis and normal development of the gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) neuronal system. Phosphorylates PLCG1, FRS2, GAB1 and SHB.
