Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

Peptide mapping near the amino terminus of rat FAS-L.
N-Terminus
Mouse, rat and human FAS-L
Immunohistochemistry: LS-B3314 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B3314 was determined to be 5 ug/ml.

Packaging

PBS, 0.1% sodium azide, 0.2% gelatin.
Store at 4°C. Do not freeze.

About FASLG / Fas Ligand

P48023 NM_000639 NP_000630.1

FASLG Antibody, ALPS1B Antibody, Apoptosis antigen ligand Antibody, APTL Antibody, CD95L Antibody, CD95 ligand Antibody, CD178 antigen Antibody, CD95-L Antibody, Fas antigen ligand Antibody, Fas ligand Antibody, FASL Antibody, TNFSF6 Antibody, APT1LG1 Antibody, CD178 Antibody

Cytokine that binds to TNFRSF6/FAS, a receptor that transduces the apoptotic signal into cells. May be involved in cytotoxic T-cell mediated apoptosis and in T-cell development. TNFRSF6/FAS-mediated apoptosis may have a role in the induction of peripheral tolerance, in the antigen-stimulated suicide of mature T-cells, or both. Binding to the decoy receptor TNFRSF6B/DcR3 modulates its effects.

Immunohistochemistry

Immunohistochemistry
Anti-FASLG / FASL antibody IHC of human prostate. Immunohistochemistry of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue after heat-induced antigen retrieval. Antibody LS-B3314 concentration 5 ug/ml.
