  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

FABP4 Antibody, A-FABP Antibody, AFABP Antibody, ALBP Antibody, AP2 Antibody, Fatty acid-binding protein 4 Antibody

FABP4 encodes the fatty acid binding protein found in adipocytes. Fatty acid binding proteins are a family of small, highly conserved, cytoplasmic proteins that bind long-chain fatty acids and other hydrophobic ligands. It is thought that FABPs roles include fatty acid uptake, transport, and metabolism.

Western blot

Western blot
Western blot of FABP4 (arrow) using rabbit polyclonal FABP4 Antibody (Y20). 293 cell lysates (2 ug/lane) either nontransfected (Lane 1) or transiently transfected (Lane 2) with the FABP4 gene.

Western blot

Western blot
Western blot of anti-FABP4 Antibody (Y20) in mouse heart tissue lysates (35 ug/lane). FABP4 (arrow) was detected using the purified antibody.
