  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

EZR / Ezrin antibody was raised against synthesized phosphopeptide derived from human Ezrin around the phosphorylation site of tyrosine 353 (Q-D-YP-E-E).
Detects endogenous levels of Ezrin only when phosphorylated at tyrosine 353.
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000. Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:100.

PBS, pH 7.4, 150 mM sodium chloride, 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol.

The cytoplasmic peripheral membrane protein encoded by this gene functions as a protein-tyrosine kinase substrate in microvilli. As a member of the ERM protein family, this protein serves as an intermediate between the plasma membrane and the actin cytoskeleton. This protein plays a key role in cell surface structure adhesion, migration and organization, and it has been implicated in various human cancers. A pseudogene located on chromosome 3 has been identified for this gene.
