  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

EFNA3 / Ephrin A3 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide derived from the C-terminus of mouse ephrin-A3 protein.
This antibody recognizes mouse ephrin-A3 recombinant protein. On Western blots it identifies a positive band at ~60kD and an additional band at ~30kD that is suspected to be the result of a breakdown product. Reactivity in Western blotting has been confirmed with mouse ephrin-A3 recombinant protein. Based on amino acid sequence homology, cross-reactivity with human is expected. This antibody was also used for immunofluorescent staining of full-length ephrin-A3 transfected-HEK293 cells and frozen mouse hippocampus tissue sections.
Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA and Immunofluorescence. Western Blot: 1-3 ug/ml. Identifies a positive band at ~60kD and an additional band at ~30kD that is suspected to be the result of a breakdown product. Immunofluorescence: 10-15 ug/ml. Stains full-length ephrin-A3 transfected-HEK293 cells and frozen mouse hippocampus tissue sections. ELISA: 0.1-1 ug/ml.

PBS, pH 7.4, 0.1% sodium azide.
Long term: -20°C; Short term: +4°C. Avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

EFNA3 Antibody, Ehk1-L Antibody, EFL2 Antibody, EPLG3 Antibody, EFL-2 Antibody, Ephrin-A3 Antibody, LERK3 Antibody, LERK-3 Antibody, Ligand of eph-related kinase 3 Antibody, EHK1 ligand Antibody, Ephrin A3 Antibody

Cell surface GPI-bound ligand for Eph receptors, a family of receptor tyrosine kinases which are crucial for migration, repulsion and adhesion during neuronal, vascular and epithelial development. Binds promiscuously Eph receptors residing on adjacent cells, leading to contact-dependent bidirectional signaling into neighboring cells.
