  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

DCLRE1C / Artemis antibody was raised against synthetic peptide from human DCLRE1C / ARTEMIS.
aa 482-495 of Human ARTEMIS (DCLRE1C DNA cross-link repair 1C).
Immunohistochemistry: LS-B66 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B66 was determined to be 1.25-2.5 ug/ml.

0.02 M potassium phosphate, 0.15 M sodium chloride, pH 7.2, 0.01% sodium azide.
+4°C or -20°C, Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

Required for V(D)J recombination, the process by which exons encoding the antigen-binding domains of immunoglobulins and T-cell receptor proteins are assembled from individual V, (D), and J gene segments. V(D)J recombination is initiated by the lymphoid specific RAG endonuclease complex, which generates site specific DNA double strand breaks (DSBs). These DSBs present two types of DNA end structures: hairpin sealed coding ends and phosphorylated blunt signal ends.

Anti-DCLRE1C / ARTEMIS antibody IHC of human lymph node. Immunohistochemistry of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue after heat-induced antigen retrieval. Antibody LS-B66 concentration 5 ug/ml.

Western blot

Western blot
Anti-Artemis Antibody - Western Blot. Western blotting. Goat-anti-Artemis was used at a 1:500 dilution to detect Artemis is various cell lysates by Western blot. CJ is an Artemis deficient cell line and so no band is visible.
