  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

CXCR5 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide surrounding amino acid 359 of human CXCR5.
The antibody recognizes 36 kD CXCR5 of human origin. Reactivity to other species has not been tested.
Immunohistochemistry: LS-B2827 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B2827 was determined to be 5 ug/ml.

PBS, 30% glycerol, 0.5% BSA, 0.01% Thimerosal.
Long term: -70°C; Short term: -20°C; Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

CXCR5, a Chemokine Receptor, also called Burkitt's lymphoma receptor 1, is required for normal development of Peyer's patches, inguinal lymph nodes, and splenic follicles. CXCR5 binds B-lymphocyte chemoattractant (BLC) and is involved in B-cell homing to follicles in lymph nodes and spleen. Two isoforms are produced by alternative splicing.

Anti-CXCR5 antibody IHC of human spleen. Immunohistochemistry of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue after heat-induced antigen retrieval. Antibody LS-B2827 concentration 5 ug/ml.
