  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

CXCR2 antibody was raised against human CXCR2 transfected NSO mouse myeloma cells.
Human CXCR2 reacts with CXCR2 transfected cells and not with the parent cell line by flow cytometry. The antibody shows no cross-reactivity with human CXCR1. The antibody will neutralize human cell surface CXCR2 mediated myloperoxidase release from human granulocytes induced by GRO alpha. It will not block myeloperoxidase release induced by IL8. Species cross-reactivity: Cross-reacts with Human.
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry.

0.01 M Na phosphate, 0.25 M sodium chloride, pH 7.6, 0.05% Na azide, 0.01% Thimerosal, 15 mg/ml BSA.

CXCR2 is a member of the G-protein-coupled receptor family. This protein is a receptor for interleukin 8 (IL8). It binds to IL8 with high affinity, and transduces the signal through a G-protein activated second messenger system. This receptor also binds to chemokine (C-X-C motif) ligand 1 (CXCL1/MGSA), a protein with melanoma growth stimulating activity, and has been shown to be a major component required for serum-dependent melanoma cell growth.
