Specificity and Use
CXCL7 / PPBP antibody was raised against e.coli derived recombinant Human NAP-2.
ELISA: In a sandwich ELISA (assuming 100 ul/well), a concentration of 2-4 ug/ml of this antibody will detect at least 500 pg/ml of recombinant human NAP-2 when used with biotinylated antigen affinity purified anti-human NAP-2 (LS-C104604) as the detection antibody at a concentration of approximately 0.5-1 ug/ml. Western Blot: To detect hNAP-2 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.5-1 ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hNAP-2 is 0.5-1 ng/lane, under reducing or non-reducing conditions.

LA-PF4 stimulates DNA synthesis, mitosis, glycolysis, intracellular cAMP accumulation, prostaglandin E2 secretion, and synthesis of hyaluronic acid and sulfated glycosaminoglycan. It also stimulates the formation and secretion of plasminogen activator by human synovial cells. NAP-2 is a ligand for CXCR1 and CXCR2, and NAP-2, NAP-2(73), NAP-2(74), NAP-2(1-66), and most potent NAP-2(1-63) are chemoattractants and activators for neutrophils.
