Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

CXCL5 antibody was raised against highly pure (>98%) recombinant mLIX (murine LIX).
MLIX.
ELISA: To detect mLIX by direct ELISA (using 100 ul/well antibody solution) this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.15-0.30 ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows the detection of at least 0.2 ng/well of recombinant mLIX. Western Blot: To detect mLIX by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2 ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant mLIX is 1.5-3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.

CXCL5 is a protein that is a member of the CXC subfamily of chemokines. Chemokines, which recruit and activate leukocytes, are classified by function (inflammatory or homeostatic) or by structure. This protein is proposed to bind the G-protein coupled receptor chemokine (C-X-C motif) receptor 2 to recruit neutrophils, to promote angiogenesis and to remodel connective tissues. This protein is thought to play a role in cancer cell proliferation, migration, and invasion.
