  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

CSF3 / G-CSF antibody was raised against e.coli derived recombinant Human G-CSF.
Human G-CSF
Immunohistochemistry: This antibody stained formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections of human angiosarcoma. The recommended concentration is 0.25 ug/mL with an overnight incubation at 4°C. An HRP-labeled polymer detection system was used with a DAB chromogen. Heat induced antigen retrieval with a pH 6 sodium citrate buffer is recommended. Optimal concentrations and conditions may vary. Neutralization: To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND] of the biological activity of hG-CSF (0.5 ng/ml), a concentration of 0.04-0.06 ug/ml of this antibody is required. ELISA: To detect hG-CSF by sandwich ELISA (using 100 ul/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.5-2 ug/ml of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with Biotinylated Anti-Human G-CSF (LS-C104674) as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4 ng/well of recombinant hG-CSF. Western Blot: To detect hG-CSF by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2 ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hG-CSF is 1.5-3 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Granulocyte/macrophage colony-stimulating factors are cytokines that act in hematopoiesis by controlling the production, differentiation, and function of 2 related white cell populations of the blood, the granulocytes and the monocytes-macrophages. This CSF induces granulocytes.
