Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Chicken (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
IgG3 Monoclonal [BGN/C53]
ELISA (1:500 - 1:5000)
Specificity and Use
Cortisol antibody was raised against synthetic corticosterone conjugated to Bovine Serum Albumin.
Recognizes cortisol, a glucocorticoid hormone synthesized from cholesterol by the adrenal cortex. It is released in response to pituitary adenocorticotrophic hormone (ACTH) which is, in turn, regulated by corticotrophin releasing factor (CRF). High levels of cortisol act to regulate the release of ACTH and CRF via negative feedback inhibition. The release of cortisol stimulates the conversion of proteins to carbohydrates, raises blood sugar levels and promotes glycogen storage in the liver Cross reactivity: Cortisol 100%, Corticosterone 50%, Prednisolone 15%, 11-Desoxycortisol, <0.1% Cortisone,<0.1% 17-a-OH Progesterone, <0.1%.
