  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

CLEC1B / CLEC-2 antibody was raised against rBL-2H3 cells stably expressing HA-tagged mouse CLEC2.
Recognizes mouse C-type lectin domain family 1 member B, also known as CLEC2 or CLEC1B. CLEC2 acts as a receptor for rhodocytin, a platelet-aggregating protein found in snake venom. CLEC2 expression is not restricted to platelets and also acts as an activation receptor on neutrophils.
The applications listed have been tested for the base form of this product. Alternate forms, such as conjugated, azide-free, or ready-to-use, have not been tested.

CLEC1B Antibody, C-type lectin-like receptor 2 Antibody, C-type lectin-like receptor-2 Antibody, CLEC-2 Antibody, CLEC2 Antibody, QDED721 Antibody, PRO1384 Antibody

Natural killer (NK) cells express multiple calcium-dependent (C-type) lectin-like receptors, such as CD94 (KLRD1; MIM 602894) and NKG2D (KLRC4; MIM 602893), that interact with major histocompatibility complex class I molecules and either inhibit or activate cytotoxicity and cytokine secretion. CLEC2 is a C-type lectin-like receptor expressed in myeloid cells and NK cells (Colonna et al., 2000 [PubMed 10671229]).[supplied by OMIM, Jan 2011]
