  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

Cdk2 peptide corresponding to the C-terminus of the human protein conjugated to Keyhole Limpet Hemocyanin (KLH).
Immunohistochemistry: LS-B352 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B352 was determined to be 1:500.

0.01% sodium azide.
Aliquot and store at -20°C. Minimize freezing and thawing.
For research use only.

About CDK2

P24941 NM_001798 NP_001789.2

CDK2 Antibody, Cell division protein kinase 2 Antibody, CDC2-related protein kinase Antibody, p33 protein kinase Antibody, p33(CDK2) Antibody, CDKN2 Antibody, Cyclin-dependent kinase 2 Antibody

Serine/threonine-protein kinase involved in the control of the cell cycle; essential for meiosis, but dispensable for mitosis. Phosphorylates CTNNB1, USP37, p53/TP53, NPM1, CDK7, RB1, BRCA2, MYC, NPAT, EZH2. Interacts with cyclins A, B1, B3, D, or E. Triggers duplication of centrosomes and DNA.

Anti-CDK2 antibody IHC of human breast. Immunohistochemistry of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue after heat-induced antigen retrieval. Antibody LS-B352 dilution 1:500.

Western blot

Western blot
Anti-cdk2 Antibody - Western Blot. Rabbit anti-cdk2 was used at a 1:200 dilution to detect cdk-2 in asynchronous HeLa cell lysates (run in duplicate). Approximately 50 ug of lysate was separated on a 15% SDS-PAGE gel. Cdk-2 is indicated by an arrowhead as a 32-33 kD band. Note that multiple isoforms as well as phosphorylated forms of cdk-2 may be detected by this antibody. Primary antibody was reacted at room temperature for 1 h. After subsequent washing, a 1:5000 dilution of HRP conjugated Gt-a-Rabbit IgG (LS-C60865) preceded color development.
