Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

  • Immunoprecipitation
  • ELISA (1:2000 - 1:10000)

Specificity and Use

CDC20 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide from human CDC20.
C-Terminus
Amino acids 486-499 of Human CDC20 (fizzy) (C-terminal) coupled to KLH.
This antibody reacts with human CDC20 (fizzy) by western blot and immunoprecipitation. The antibody immunoprecipitates in vitro translated protein and protein from overexpressing cell lysates (using HeLa and NIH-3T3, and others). Coimmunoprecipitation of related proteins has not been determined. A 54.7 kD band corresponding to human CDC20 (fizzy) is detected. Most cell lines or tissues expressing CDC20 can be used as a positive control. Researchers should determine optimal titers for other applications.

Packaging

0.01% sodium azide.
Store vial at -20 C prior to opening. Aliquot contents and freeze at -20 C or below for extended storage. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature.

About CDC20

Q12834 NM_001255 NP_001246.2

CDC20 Antibody, BA276H19.3 Antibody, CDC20A Antibody, p55CDC Antibody

Required for full ubiquitin ligase activity of the anaphase promoting complex/cyclosome (APC/C) and may confer substrate specificity upon the complex. Is regulated by MAD2L1: in metaphase the MAD2L1-CDC20-APC/C ternary complex is inactive and in anaphase the CDC20-APC/C binary complex is active in degrading substrates. The CDC20-APC/C complex positively regulates the formation of synaptic vesicle clustering at active zone to the presynaptic membrane in postmitotic neurons.
