Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

CD247 / CD3 Zeta antibody was raised against 113 amino acid synthetic peptide corresponding to the cytoplasmic domain of murine zeta TCR subunit.
Cytoplasmic Domain
The T cell antigen receptor (TCR) consists of a ligand-specific alpha/beta heterodimer noncovalently associated with five invariant chains including the CD3 gamma/delta/eta and zeta subunits, all of which are required for efficient surface expression. T cell activation through the TCR induces cellular differentiation and/or proliferation and the production of lymphokines and cytokines. Both the CD3 and TCR zeta subunits are proposed to be responsible for the intracellular signal transduction events.
The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.

Packaging

About CD247 / CD3 Zeta

CD247 Antibody, CD3 Zeta Antibody, CD3H Antibody, CD3Z Antibody, CD247 antigen, zeta subunit Antibody, CD247 molecule Antibody, CD3zeta chain Antibody, T3Z Antibody, TCR zeta chain Antibody, TCRZ Antibody, T-cell receptor T3 zeta chain Antibody, CD247 antigen Antibody, CD3-ZETA Antibody, CD3Q Antibody

CD247 / CD3 Zeta is T-cell receptor zeta, which together with T-cell receptor alpha/beta and gamma/delta heterodimers, and with CD3-gamma, -delta and -epsilon, forms the T-cell receptor-CD3 complex. The zeta chain plays an important role in coupling antigen recognition to several intracellular signal-transduction pathways. Low expression of the antigen results in impaired immune response. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been found for this gene.
