About CCP110
Necessary for centrosome duplication at different stages of procentriole formation. Acts as a key negative regulator of ciliogenesis in collaboration with CEP97 by capping the mother centriole thereby preventing cilia formation. Required for correct spindle formation and has a role in regulating cytokinesis and genome stability via cooperation with CALM1 and CETN2. O43303 NM_014711 NP_055526.3

Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Chimpanzee, Gorilla, Orangutan, Monkey, Galago, Elephant (100%); Gibbon, Marmoset, Ferret, Panda, Bovine, Guinea pig (92%); Dog, Rabbit, Pig, Opossum (83%).

Usage
Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:32000. Western blot: Approx 110kD band observed in Human Testis lysates (calculated MW of 113kD according to NP_001185951.1). Recommended concentration: 0.3-1 ug/ml. Additional bands of unknown identity were also consistently observed at 65kD and 37kD. These bands were successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide.
