Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

CCL7 / MCP3 antibody was raised against e.coli derived recombinant Human MCP-3.
Human MCP-3
The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested. ELISA: To detect hMCP-3 by direct ELISA (using 100 ul/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.25-1 ug/ml of this antibody is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4 ng/well of recombinant hMCP-3. To detect hMCP-3 by sandwich ELISA (using 100 ul/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.25-1 ug/ml of this antibody is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with Polyclonal Anti-Human MCP-3 (LS-C104663) as a capture antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4 ng/well of recombinant hMCP-3. Western Blot: To detect by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2 ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hMCP-3 is 1.5-3 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

About CCL7 / MCP3

P80098 NM_006273 NP_006264.2

CCL7 Antibody, C-C motif chemokine 7 Antibody, Chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 7 Antibody, FIC Antibody, MARC Antibody, MCP3 Antibody, Monocyte chemotactic protein 3 Antibody, SCYA7 Antibody, Small-inducible cytokine A7 Antibody, MCP-3 Antibody, SCYA6 Antibody, NC28 Antibody

CCL7 / MCP3 is monocyte chemotactic protein 3, a secreted chemokine which attracts macrophages during inflammation and metastasis. It is a member of the C-C subfamily of chemokines which are characterized by having two adjacent cysteine residues. The protein is an in vivo substrate of matrix metalloproteinase 2, an enzyme which degrades components of the extracellular matrix. This gene is part of a cluster of C-C chemokine family members on chromosome 17q.
