Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Human (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Protein A purified
Western blot (1 - 3 µg/ml)
Specificity and Use
CASP12 / Caspase 12 antibody was raised against amino acids 100-117 (GLNIRNKEFNYLHNRNGS)of human Caspase-12 were used as the immunogen for this antibody. Percent identity with other species by BLAST analysis: Human (100%).
Human CASP12 / Caspase 12.

Store at 4°C, stable for 6 months. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C.
Caspases are cysteine proteases that cleave C-terminal aspartic acid residues on their substrate molecules. This gene is most highly related to members of the ICE subfamily of caspases that process inflammatory cytokines. In rodents, the homolog of this gene mediates apoptosis in response to endoplasmic reticulum stress. However, in humans this gene contains a polymorphism for the presence or absence of a premature stop codon.
Western blot of Caspase-12 in human heart lysate in the 1) absence and 2) presence of immunizing peptide using Caspase-12 antibody at 1 ug/ml. Goat anti-rabbit Ig HRP secondary antibody, and PicoTect ECL substrate solution, were used for this test.
