Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
(applications tested for the base form of this product only)
Specificity and Use
CAMK2 / CAMKII antibody was raised against synthetic peptide aa281-291 (KMHRQE[pT]VDCLK) corresponding to rat calmodulin- dependent protein kinase II, subunit.
Recognizes phospho-CCaM Kinase II, alpha, beta subunits at Mr 50 and 60kD, respectively. Species cross-reactivity: Rat. Species sequence homology: mouse, rat b-11/12, Human, porcine, rat g-10/12, porcine, rat z-10/12. Predicted to cross-react with mouse, porcine, Xenopus and Drosophila.
Suitable for use in Western Blot. Western Blot: 0.5-2g/ml detect the phosphorylated alpha and beta subunits of CaM Kinase II in a rat brain microsomal preparation. Pretreating blots with 400U/ml of phosphatase prior to incubation with this lot of antibody abolished the detection of phospho-CaM Kinase II. Treatment with phosphatase had no effect on detection by a. non-phosphospecific antibody to CaM Kinase II.
0.1 M Tris-glycine, pH 7.4, 0.15 M sodium chloride, 0.05% sodium azide, 30% glycerol.
