Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Applications

IHC - Paraffin (10 µg/ml), IHC - Frozen (1:50)

Specificity and Use

c-Met antibody was raised against synthetic peptide derived from cytoplasmic domain of human c-Met protein.
Cytoplasmic Domain
Recognizes c-Met.
Immunohistochemistry: LS-B2812 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B2812 was determined to be 10 ug/ml. Positive control: Breast cancer.

Packaging

PBS, pH 7.4, 1% BSA, 0.1% sodium azide.
Long term: -20°C; Short term: +4°C; Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

About c-Met

P08581 NM_000245 NP_000236.2

MET Antibody, AUTS9 Antibody, C-Met Antibody, HGF/SF receptor Antibody, HGFR Antibody, Met kinase Antibody, Proto-oncogene c-Met Antibody, Scatter factor receptor Antibody, SF receptor Antibody, HGF receptor Antibody, RCCP2 Antibody, Tyrosine-protein kinase Met Antibody

Met, an HGF Receptor/Met type protein kinase, is a cell-surface proto-oncogene that mediates the biological activities of hepatocyte growth factor. The protein is a disulfide-linked heterodimer comprised of two subunits: a 50 kD extracellular alpha subunit and a membrane-spanning 145 kD beta subunit that binds ligand. Met is an important regulator of cell proliferation and differentiation, organ regeneration, embryogenesis, and tumorogenesis.

Immunohistochemistry

Immunohistochemistry
Anti-c-Met antibody IHC of human uterus. Immunohistochemistry of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue after heat-induced antigen retrieval. Antibody LS-B2812 concentration 10 ug/ml.
