Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Immunohistochemical analysis of ATRIP staining in human breast cancer formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with hematoxylin and mounted with DPX.

Specificity and Use

ATRIP antibody was raised against a synthetic peptide derived from a sequence between amino acids 500-550 of the human ATRIP protein (aka TREX1) [Gene ID 11277]
aa500-550
Reacts with human ATRIP. Other species have not been tested. Reactivity with lower primates is unlikely owing to sequence divergence at the site to which the immunogen epitope maps.
This antibody may be used for Western blot and immunoprecipitation. Immunohisto/cytochemistry have not been tested using this antibody.

Packaging

50% Glycerol, phosphate buffered saline, 0.1% sodium azide
Store at 4°C. Do not freeze.

About ATRIP

Q8WXE1 NM_130384 NP_569055.1

ATRIP Antibody, AGS1 Antibody, ATR-interacting protein Antibody, ATR interacting protein Antibody

ATRIP is an essential component of the DNA damage checkpoint. The encoded protein binds to single-stranded DNA coated with replication protein A. The protein also interacts with the ataxia telangiectasia and Rad3 related protein kinase, resulting in its accumulation at intranuclear foci induced by DNA damage. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.

Western blot

WB and IP: ATRIP Antibody - Whole cell lysate from HeLa and 293-T cells. ATRIP was also IPed using a control antibody generated to recombinant human ATRIP. IPed ATRIP was detected using the antibody to the recombinant protein. This image was taken for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.
