Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Rabbit Polyclonal to Human APLNR/ Apelin Receptor / APJ

Human, Mouse (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
IHC - Paraffin (20 µg/ml)
Specificity and Use
Synthetic 20 amino acid peptide from 3rd cytoplasmic domain of human Apelin Receptor. Percent identity with other species by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla, Orangutan, Gibbon, Monkey, Marmoset, Mouse, Rat, Hamster, Panda, Bat, Horse, Rabbit (100%); Elephant (95%); Platypus (90%).
Human Apelin Receptor. BLAST analysis of the peptide immunogen showed no homology with other human proteins.
PBS, less than 0.1% sodium azide.
Aliquot and store undiluted at -20°C or below for up to 1 year. Can be stored undiluted at 4°C for up to 1 month. Avoid freeze thaw cycles.
Receptor for apelin coupled to G proteins that inhibit adenylate cyclase activity and plays a role in various processes in adults such as regulation of blood pressure, heart contractility, and heart failure. Also plays a key role in early development such as gastrulation and heart morphogenesis by acting as a receptor for APELA hormone. Alternative coreceptor with CD4 for HIV-1 infection; may be involved in the development of AIDS dementia.
