Recognizes human ABCG1. Species cross-reactivity: Mouse. There is 100%/100% identity/homology of the immunogen used for this production and the human protein sequence. There is 84%/89% for mouse and 78%/88% for rat.

- Immunoprecipitation
Usage
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Not recommended for Immunoprecipitation. Western Blot: Mouse peritoneal macrophages treated with 22-R-hydroxycholesterol and T0901317 (stimulating ABCG1 expression). Recognizes a band at ~75.6 kD. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.

Storage
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid freeze-thaw cycles, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for up to 3 months at -20°C.
