Clone 198 recognizes the rabbit CD11b cell surface glycoprotein (also known as integrin alpha M chain, CR3 and MAC-1). This antibody immunoprecipitates two proteins of molecular weight 165kD and 95kD from granulocytes. It recognizes monocytes, macrophages and neutrophils by flow cytometry. The staining pattern of this antibody indicates it recognizes the rabbit homologue of human CD11b. In immunohistochemistry good staining of macrophages is observed.
