LSBio guarantees that every product will meet the standards defined on its individual product specification sheet. If a LifeSpan product fails to work as stated, LSBio’s technical support group will work closely with the customer to provide experienced product support. Products which have been damaged in transit, don’t meet their defined specifications, or for which the troubleshooting process fails, will be replaced or credited. The following are LSBio product line-specific considerations:
LSBio antibodies are guaranteed to work in those applications, and cross-react with those species, listed on their individual product specification sheets. Due to the highly specific nature of antibodies and antigens, we cannot predict or be held responsible with respect to how LSBio products will behave in our customers' systems. Researchers using LSBio products should conduct optimization studies to achieve the best result possible for their intended application.
LSBio proteins and peptides are guaranteed to meet the structural and purity specifications listed on their individual product specification sheets. Due to the diversity of applications in which proteins can be used, LSBio is unable to guarantee the successful use of an LSBio protein product in specific applications. The biological activity of a protein is dependent upon specific assay conditions and therefore LSBio can only guarantee the specified biological activity of a protein product as tested internally, and not in client applications.
LSBio guarantees the integrity of all components contained with an immunoassay kit, and that the standards provided will produce a standard curve sufficient for the quantification of target antigen concentrations that fall within the specified range of the kit. Due to the variable nature of sample types and preparations, LifeSpan cannot guarantee that the target antigen will be detectable in customer-supplied samples. For this reason, LifeSpan strongly recommends that customers conduct validation experiments, using positive control samples generated in a similar manner to the experimental samples, before using valuable research specimens. Due to the perishable nature of ELISA kits, orders of greater than 5 units of a single catalog number cannot be returned upon shipment, and are not eligible for refund.
LSBio guarantees 100% sequence accuracy of all synthetic DNA constructs we deliver, but we do not guarantee protein expression in your experimental system. Protein expression is influenced by many factors that may vary between experiments or laboratories.
Eligibility requires that customers complete a LSBio Return Claim Form within 6 months of purchase. LSBio reserves the right to refuse the eligibility of any customer to this guarantee at its discretion and does not offer returns or refunds beyond 6 months of product purchase date. When issued, refunds are limited to the list price of the Returned Product and replacements are limited to products of comparable list price to the failed Product.
