Specificity and Use
IL25 / IL17E antibody was raised against synthetic peptide from human IL25 / IL-25.
A synthetic peptide of amino acids 115-132, obtained from the human IL-17E protein sequence, was used as immunogen
Immunohistochemistry: LS-B123 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody , followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B123 was determined to be 10 ug/ml.

The IL17 proteins are a family of potent cytokines that act to induce proinflammatory responses. Studies have shown that IL17E binds strongly to IL17RB. Receptor binding of ligand has been shown to lead to the activation of nuclear factor kappa-B and production of IL8.
