Overview

Description
The secreted mature form of mouse CD28 consists of 141 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 16.5 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the apparent molecular mass of rmCD28 is approximately 32-35 kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions. A DNA sequence encoding the extracellular domain (Met 1-Lys 149) of mouse CD28 (NP_031668.3) was fused with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
