Overview

Description
The secreted recombinant human CD16a consists of 203 amino acids and predicts a molecular mass of 23.3 KDa. The apparent molecular mass of the protein is approximately 43 Kda in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions due to glycosylation. A DNA sequence encoding the extracellular domain (Met 1-Gln 208) of human CD16a (P08637-1) precursor was expressed with a C-terminal polyhistidine tag.
