Description
Recombinant Hepatitis C virus NS4 is expressed in E. coli as a monomeric, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain consisting of 252 amino acids with a molecular mass of 26300 Da. The product represents amino acids 1617 to 1864 of the HCV polyprotein, covering the C-terminal end (45 a.a.) of NS3, the complete NS4A sequence (54 a.a.) and the major part of NS4B (153 a.a. of the N-terminus).
