- Recognizes the alpha, beta and cardiac isoforms of chicken RyR-1 and Ryr-2. Species cross-reactivity: human, mouse, rat, monkey, bovine, sheep, canine, rabbit and amphibian RyR-1 and RyR-2 isoforms. Also recognizes frog alpha and beta isoforms and the fish alpha isoform, as well as RyR-3 in mouse cells. Detects a band of ~565kD by Western blot, representing RyR from rat skeletal muscle extracts. In non-mammalian vertebrates, a doublet is seen at 565kD representing the alpha and beta isoforms.
