Epitope
Recognizes Proximal Nephrogenic Renal Antigen. Reacts with a glycoprotein of 200kD, present in proximal renal tubules. Carbohydrate in nature and retained in formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissues. Expressed in breast, parathyroid glands and epididymis. Among renal carcinomas 93% of primary and 84% of metastatic carcinomas are positive. Other positive tumor types include breast cancers, teratocarcinomas and parathyroid adenomas.
