Target

Target
Human Myc Tag
Antigen Species
Human
Epitope
Detects the 62kD c-myc gene product, which is involved in the regulation of the cell cycle and cell growth. p62c-myc is primarily located in the cell nucleus, but has also been shown to be localized to the cytoplasm in several cell lines. Overexpression of c-myc has been reported in a wide variety of human cancers. May also be used to detect the commonly used c-myc tag. Clone 9E10 is reported as being suitable for Western blotting. XXX recommend the use of MCA2200 for this application.
